About
Noted for fearless color combinations and the mix of distinctive 20th Century Design, Downtown has become a Destinnation for designers in search for fresh ideas.
Opened in 1996 by David Serrano and Robert Willson, Downtown combines significant historical knowledge with high energy and imagination. The duo was honored by House and Garden Magazine as New Tase Makers of 2006.
Downtown has introduced the Downtown Classics Collection. The unexpected designs of original and reproduction furniture, lighting, and mirrors feature many of the distinct finishes and the bold approach that has become a trademark.
Decades later, Downtown’s very own designer, buyer, and product developer Onik Agaronyan, has acquired Downtown and its Classics Collection. Onik Agaronyan, an Armenian born artist now living in Los Angeles, has been creating objects influenced by natural elements since he was 15 years old. His early custom decorative objects and mirrors are seen in homes from Malibu to Bangkok.
Under Onik’s creative direction, Downtown continues to prioritize the representation of new artists within its catalogue, presenting one-of-a-kind pieces, and further developing the Classic Collection.
